Still seems relevant though unfortunately 8-(
She leaves....
She sits and she looks to the stars in the night
She figures she must do the thing that is right
Get on with her life and get on with it fast
Think to the future move on from the past
Away from the anger, away from the pain
She looks at her dress at the blood and the stain
He thought he was macho he thought he was tough
She finally decided that she'd had enough
She packed up her bags and she'd move right away
Her life with this monster? This was the last day
Deep in her heart she still loved this dark man
But he shouldn't be any part of her plan
Enough with the violence, enough the abuse
These things in a man she just couldn't use
'I'll leave him, that's it, I just have to be free
I don't know about him but it's better for me
I'm tired of hurting and he doesn't care'
She wipes off a tear runs her hands through her hair
She wished she could be back with him in his arms
Away from the fear and away from the harm
She wanted the man that she wished he could be
But knew it was wrong just a pure fantasy
If there's one thing on earth that she'd ever know
Is he'd never change and that she'd have to go
She knew that she'd have to and have to do soon
She looked to the sky and prayed under the moon
She makes her decision looks foward ahead
Better to move on then found somewhere dead
She'd be glad at the path she decided to take
She'd now have the life that she wanted to make
