TEXAS DUERS: Which Texas state cabinet race gives us the best pickup opportunity?

Here are the state constitutional offices up in 2018, all held by Republicans:

- Governor
- Lt. Governor
- Attorney General
- Comptroller
- Land Commissioner
- Agriculture Commissioner
- Railroad Commissioner

Which do you think gives us the best opportunity for a pickup?

Beto will play like the top of the ticket most likely and his success could bring the turnout needed to elect Dems at all levels of government up and down the ticket.

Ted Cruz has a 40-42 Approval Rating. I am more optimistic about winning some of those 4 US House Races where Clinton won the District. I'm in Tx-32 represented by Pete Sessions. Democrats have about 6 qualified candidates-4 could probably put up a strong fight. Clinton won District by 1 in 2016. BTW Democrats didn't have anybody to contest the race last time. A strong turnout could also mean Democrats finally start picking up State Representative/Senate seats. We'll sweep the County races in most big urban centers except maybe Tarrant (Ft. Worth
