and Best Picture for last. That way people who are interested in the bog awards are stuck watching the ads all evening.

I don't have a tv anymore, but I just saw a clip of Frances McDormand giving her acceptance speech and that was thrilling.. asking all the women to stand up; "first Meryl, 'cause then everyone else will"! lol

POWERFUL Oscars in years....much is being said. Ya know what the arts/movies/music are liberal and ya know what...we're going to be LIBERAL..and the Oscars tonight are the most liberal I've ever seen it.

awards milestone, it'd be a lot more interesting. Kimmel isn't really doing all that great a job, as much as I like him. And they need to cut out about half of these awards, I've been saying that for years as I've been watching them every year for over forty years. If they're not going to do that, they can at least put more of the "heavier" awards in the front of the show. They've been told this for years and years and never ever do anything about it. It's annoying.

All fluff and commercials. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested in all the women's gowns, but I can see those on line tomorrow. I'm by no means a fashionesta, so what is about their gowns I find so fascinating?

Lots of powerful women and good comedy. I''ve seen all the nominated movies and actors; I'm always surprised how the awards shake out. I don't really care who wins, I just appreciate the talent that does into making them.
