How much has America changed in the last year?

Are we like the frog that has been put in a pan of warm water and slowly brought to a boil?

Will the changes we have gone thru be permanent?

Or will we be able to return to the way we were when Trump and the Republicans are out of power?

How much have we changed?

It is up to the voters and Robert Mueller to reverse our current direction.

I completely agree. There has not been really much change as there have been revelations and as you note magnifications. As to our ability to put this rather ugly Genie back into the bottle, I do have some serious concerns.

Foundational principles have been abandoned on the right.
If Mueller is thwarted, absent a military takeover, well...things aren't looking good.
November is our last chance before descending into fascism. Hopefully the machines aren't rigged or the Con doesn't start a war by then.

What sticks out to me most is I think I am recognizing more people at least acting as if they are going to take part. I'm seeing what appears to be more people running for more seats on our side. The youth is taking to the streets. The old guard on our side is acting with rejuvenated vigor.

So much of this action I think I am seeing seems to be on our side.

I hope it has lasting power.
