the constitutionally created electoral college deprives individual voters in California of an equal vote. As a Californian, my vote counts for only a portion of the vote of a person from a less populated state.

The struggle for justice and civil rights continues in California.

Most Californians don't even realize how little their vote counts in presidential elections.

Hillary would be president today if Californians' votes were counted like those of voters in other states.

This needs to be changed.

for each 194,219 people. California, with 38,332,521 people, has 55 electoral votes, or one for each 696,955 people. This is actually quite sickening. I can't imagine why this country has put up with this nonsense for as long as it has. Hell, the United Kingdom's House of Lords is more "democratic" than our presidential election system.

So many were beaten and even died down there, and for what? Just simple recognition of their common humanity.

We're sure going backwards now, with these racists crawling out from under their rocks and having the temerity to march in our streets.
