The better you know them, the less you like them!

BY JESSICA KWONG ON 3/8/18 AT 12:55 PM

... In January 2017 when Ivanka Trump entered the White House, 42 percent of Americans had a favorable opinion of her, and 33 percent had an unfavorable one. While the percentage of those who view her in a favorable light has remained unchanged .. the percentage of those with an unfavorable impression .. has leaped .. to 43, according to an Economist/YouGov Poll released Wednesday.

... less well known than his wife when entering the White House, Kushner had a favorability rating of 25 percent in January 2017, compared with 29 percent who looked at him in a negative light. Since then, not only has the percentage of those viewing him favorably seen a modest drop, to 22 percent, but his unfavorability percentage now stands at .. 42 percent ...

The poll, conducted from March 4 to 6, surveyed 1,500 American adults and had a margin of error of 3.3 percentage points.

Breck used to be a brand of shampoo that promised lustrous full-bodied hair for women. On their heads, I mean. Anyway, their commercials often featured a young white man and a young white woman running toward each other in a field or a meadow or some other open space. The slow motion soft-focus was intended to bring out the best in the young woman's hair while the man had to sustain a look of hopeful but chaste anticipation. The tagline of the commercial was, "The closer she gets, the better she looks."

Explanation of rib-tickling joke in the subject line now over. Please proceed to laugh and slap the knee of your choice (ask permission if the knee belongs to someone else or is otherwise on someone else's body).
