Sean Hannity's audience shrinks as Trump is hit with deluge of bad news.

.......................But the right-wing network has definitely been caught in a defensive posture in recent weeks as a mountain of new evidence has poured in from special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe — at the same time that the White House is tripping over itself trying to explain hush-money payments that Trump’s lawyer made to a porn star.

Then, right in the middle of all of this, the same administration unveiled plans to impose radical tariffs that even Republican members oppose.

For Fox News, this adds up to falling ratings — especially primetime ratings, where Sean Hannity has been caught losing badly to MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow in the 9 p.m. time slot.

In fact, Maddow this month has posted some of the biggest ratings of her career as she continues to methodically break down the Russia story. Meanwhile, Hannity’s ratings have dropped during the same time period.

...........................................

On the night of March 2, Maddow had the top-rated program on all of cable television, not just cable news....................................

will they admit it's all true if the "witch hunt" turns up a whole coven of traitorous...witches?

Or will they lie & deny reality for all time & eternity, even if only a handful of nuts continue to watch them?

Nixon had a 25% approval rating in 1974, the same year he resigned. Obviously Watergate seems quaint by comparison, but it was a huge scandal back in the day.

They will lie and deny reality hoping another buffoon will appear who they can capitalize on and sell to their nutty base. Those nuts will always exist in this country and we have to realize this pathetic fact. Putin sure counted on it and aimed at their prejudices and hate to divide the country.

So many are great: Katy, Lawrence, Chris H, even Chris M with his special brand of spittle-ridden coot-y-ness. They're all smart, well-informed, and professional.

Not a fan of Chuckie Todd though; he just doesn't pass the smell test for me. And that beard-thingy doesn't help.

Even though Maddow is destroying him, he's destroying Anderson and despite me being annoyed by the right-wing panel on Anderson's show, Anderson is an excellent journalist.

Blitzer really needs to be replaced, especially in the 6 pm slot. He's terrible and 2 hours of him is ridiculous. Surprised Chris Matthews is doing well. I'd rather see Joy Reid in that slot.

Side note: How are these metrics measured? Do some households have tracking systems to see what people watch? Is my consistent watching of Rachel getting monitored?
