Donald Trump has worked very closely with the Russian oligarchs for several years. Some of them worked directly out of Trump Tower and were well-known for their money laundering and other criminal activities. The FBI knew about this long before Trump decided to run for the Presidency.

(7,394 posts)What little I know about money laundering seems to indicate that putting all your eggs in one basket is not a good idea. I'm still curious about the server that was allegedly connected to the Russian bank and the DeVos operation. Scamway? Seems like a good way to move money around to me.

(10,266 posts)And other than a totally random screw up, the only reason that TTserver was pinging a healthcare database was to crossreference the possible copied voter roll information to look for associated email addresses, which were then used to micro-target russian propoganda via social media platforms (this is the hypothesis so far).
Keep in mind that each datapoint checked is a HIPPA violation, which carries up to a 5000$ fine at minimum.

(10,266 posts)But they are primary shareholders in Spectrum Health care (I think? it's an HMO group--it's not local to me so I'm not sure what it's structure is but yeah); Betsy and Co basicly own it.
