I'm Glad The Cons Shut Down Their Intelligence Committee

Now they can just shut up and the rest of us will move along. They were never going to do a fair and honest investigation and were only intent on muddying the water. I bet the DEms continue looking into things on their own, certainly if we retake the House subpoenas will be flying.

At some point, I'm sure Nunes will find he's sorry because 1. He'll no longer have a reason to be in the spotlight and B. He'll be headed to jail hopefully sooner rather than later.

Don't let the door hit you Nunes.

1. Actually, their move pressures 45, Sessions or Rosenstein to end Mueller's investigation.

Their sham investigation was never going to produce anything resembling guilt and this move to end it is nothing but a partisan move from Nunes and company.

That it will pressure Mueller or The Senate Cons. No one has any respect for their committee or the Con members especially Nunes. The heads of the Senate Committee has already thumbed their noses at Nunes. I don't see what power that committee has aside from their big mouths and now they won't have a platform.

Edited to add: Frum mentions the bad timing of their report just when Theresa May proclaims Russia to be a villain nation for the whole world to see.

while working better together, will not see the Republicans come under increasing pressure to screw around with it, especially Cotton, Cornyn and Lankford.

I expect them to continue undermining the DOJ and FBI in order to keep their base brainwashed into thinking the Mueller probe is a political witch hunt but that Hillary was let off too easy by FBI.

Evangelicals have turned their blind faith to Trump...he is their idol now...they are a faith based bunch in that they do not think but believe. A logical argument will never sway them... politics are faith now. Trump is their Messiah and ironically by their own creed they are damned for eternity. Consider they are like children with their ears covered screaming lalalalala.
