Everybody does understand Trump has won? No matter what Mueller finds out, it will

be discounted by most people because Intel Committee has said his administration is not guilty.

It also proves beyond a doubt that the Republicans will not impeach him no matter how dire the circumstances.

Some of his administration will be in trouble - but not him.

The American people have lost.

I don't know what this is about. Did someone mention the relative sizes of the most-discussed and puffed faction of the Democratic Party compared to the rest?

(Btw, not long ago DUers were almost weepingly grateful to black women. Did they all drop off the planet or something, because I sure wasn't referring to them. In their honor I just looked and all blacks, men included, are 2.36% in PA's 18th ward. I'm from Southern California . I can't even imagine that, but hope they're out there making their 2.36% voices heard.)

Robert Mueller just keeps going deeper and deeper and deeper into the mire. If anything, Nunes and his buddies have made themselves targets for Mueller. There must be a reason they're covering for Trump. I think Mueller will get Trump, but it's still a long way off with lots of indictments in between.

Miller's findings will not immediately oust Trump, but it will give the Democrats an even better chance to take Congress in November. If the crimes are as big as I suspect, impeachment will gain major traction, as long as the Democrats are not too cautious.

Many will criticize me for saying this, but not everyone who voted for Trump is nuts. Many people simply didn't like Hillary or did not want another Clinton as president. These are the voters who may not admit it, but are horrified by Trump and will be more so after Mueller lays it all out!

secret memos and the like, but Mueller is still moving forward. Since Mueller's investigation is completely separate from and not influenced by the Intel Committee, Let's wait for his findings before we throw in the towel.

IMO, Trump's actions and tweets indicate that he is afraid of what the Mueller investigation will find.

elections just 7 months away, with primaries just weeks away.

My fear is that Mueller's report will be so tenuous, that no action will be taken against trump. The voters have already proven they'll vote for a creepy, greedy, racist, crook.

I earned my pessimism waking up every few hours to see if Fitzgerald had indicted bush. That seemed a pretty sure thing at the time. But, nope, didn't happen.

People act like Mueller is a Democrat bent on bringing down the trump admin. I don't think that is the case. I think he is committed to upholding the law, but he's got a lot to prove to bring trump down. If clear, understandable evidence -- that even the most racist, hateful white winger would say is not acceptable in our country's elections -- were there, a lot more people would be under indictment by now. Most of the indictments so far are for things not directly related to the elections. Heck, a lot of them are for activities after the election or well before.

Besides, even if the get trump, his kids, etc., GOPers will hold the Presidency for several more years and we'll like see one, two, maybe three nominations for the Supreme Court from these pigs.

because this couldn't happen without Ryan and other goprs in the house. This was not just Nunes.

But why would they issue this 'report' when Mueller could very likely find the opposite in the near future? Wouldn't that make the GOPs report and their effort and their motivations clearer? in comparison with a real investigation, wouldn't that make clear that a congressional committee conducted a fake investigation involving a foreign adversary? Wouldn't this bolster a case of obstruction and potentially treason against those who wrote and supported the report? Even if there isn't legal jeopardy, shouldn't there be clear political jeopardy?

Something more is coming....

50. 3 possible outcomes
Tue Mar 13, 2018, 01:19 PM
Mar 2018

1) Mueller never finds any direct link to Trump. The GOP and the faithful will give Trump a pass because they'll blame it on someone else. Even Trump Jr. gives him protection.

2) Mueller finds evidence of money laundering which implicates Trump as being coerced by Putin. This will be hard for many. The faithful will hang in there. The GOP will make all manner of excuses, but mostly force Trump to "turn over" foreign policy to the State Department "to avoid any implication of impropriety".

3) The smoking gun. Someone has the memo, the tape, the video, whatever of Trump committing an act of treason. I dunno how the GOP avoids that one.

My bet is on 2 personally. Furthermore, there are variations on each of these that make it worse/better for the GOP. One interesting scenario is that you get #2, AND the GOP takes a livin' beating in November that scares the heck out of them. They may feel the only way to "fix" things is to get rid of him. I'm thinking less about actual impeachment and more about cutting some "deal". This may especially play out if his kids start getting swept up in the problems.
