GOP Rep. Tom Rooney Breaks Ranks On Russia Report: 'We've Lost All Credibility'

'A GOP member of the House Intelligence Committee is breaking ranks with his fellow Republicans over a contentious report released Monday on Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible ties to the campaign of Donald Trump.

Rep. Tom Rooney (R-Fla.) told CNN that “there is evidence” the Russians worked to help Trump.

“I don’t know that necessarily there was a full-fledged campaign to do everything that they could to help elect Donald Trump,” he added. “I think that their goal was chaos.” . .

However, he also justified ending the committee’s investigation.

“We’ve gone completely off the rails, and now we’re just basically a political forum for people to leak information to drive the day’s news,” Rooney said. “We’ve lost all credibility, and we’re going to issue probably two different reports, unfortunately.”

He was referring to the likelihood that the committee’s Democratic members will issue their own report challenging the findings.>>>

Tom Rooney, from the great Pittsburgh Steelers family line owners, is confronting 10 years of his wasted life, in support of 90 some attempts to kill Obamacare, obstruction of the first black president (not on policy, but pure racism - nice job Tommy - your grandpa would not be proud of you), 7000 children's deaths from guns - since Sandy Hook and total inaction because of his servitude to the NRA, and now that he has announced his retirement, a last grasp at a big MEA CULPA on his way out.

I live in the district, and he could read the tea leaves that #Time's UP. He doesn't represent the vast majority of people in the district who are retirees, certainly hasn't done a dam for children in the district for education or protection from yahoo's with guns, and now says he has to beg off another run to "focus on his family (how Tony Perkins' quaint)." And as for infrastructure - was totally inept at securing the levee's, canals and rivers that flow out of Lake Okeechobee. Talk about useless - his picture is right their on Wikipedia - or is it Vlad's source document - Wiki Leaks.

The guy is a fake and fraud just like Paul Ryan - and the sad part is that so many people buy the snake oil they've been selling.
