"History doesn't often repeat itself, but it rhymes."

There is some controversy as to whom this quote is attributed to, but regardless, the meaning is clear. It might have been Mark Twain.

I am watching "Hitler's Circle of Evil" on Netflix and it's horrifying to see the parallels to what is going on today. It is not an exact representation of what is going on today, but it it close enough to see how fascism can take hold with a charismatic (questionable) leader and a disgruntled population. It is a very interesting series if you are interested. I would highly recommend it.

If anyone is already watching, I would be interested in your opinion. Thanks!

Great show. I used to laugh at people who said it could happen here. Not in this old Republic. I am not laughing these days.
