From the NYT election site @ 9:38 PM
"Precinct results are not currently available in Westmoreland County, a heavily Republican part of the district. Were monitoring the county-level results closely, but for now we cant responsibly make a forecast without more detailed information about where in Westmoreland County the votes are coming from."

(5,043 posts)I'm not a big "they stole the vote!" conspiracy theorist, but there's been enough solid evidence that there's some there there that even to a skeptic like me this seems, well, off.

I doubt any of our elections are honest

Well folks, we have some bad news. Westmoreland County has told us that they aren't going to report results by precinct tonight (though they had previously told us they would). The model runs on precinct results so, this is a problem.

(5,210 posts)Turnout be damned -- UNLESS it totally overwhelms what the GOP anticipated.
They weren't able to do this in Virginia because PAPER BALLOTS.
They weren't able to do it in AL because I think they underestimated black women's votes.
I'm betting they're going to come real damn close in PA -- I'm HOPING that our side has the smarts to challenge things.

(1,606 posts)All this pissing and moaning about Republicans counting votes is sour grapes.
Democrats have every opportunity to have OUR people at the table when those votes are tallied--and throughout the process leading up to it. We need to organize enough so that we SHOW THE FUCK UP. Take PART. R E P R E S E N T.
Our presence at these bean-counting affairs--a forceful and righteous presence that is animated by justice--must be part of each electoral district's plan.
Anything less--we roll over, whimper, piss and moan, and ultimately concede.
For those of us who are compelled to answer this noble calling, godspeed!
