(297,026 posts)last year.. but dropped it because I didn't see much I wanted to watch.
But, I did just join Amazon Prime because I've seen everything that I like, several times on Netflix. It's my therapy.. and I need a lot of it!.. should I search for Murdoch Mysteries on amazon?

(297,026 posts)Thank you for the link!
I know about the navigation not working as well.. but I just started, and have been watching all the Seasons of Covert Affairs.
Amazon should work on that to make it better.. I know they have made some improvements over the years on their streaming.. the ones I had to pay for individually because I couldn't wait for Netflix to get them.
Fingers crossed for Conon Lamb

(16,342 posts)Theres a way to watch it for free. ITV, Channel 4 and BBC are all viewable using a VPN which makes their sites think youre in the UK. It requires you to enter a post code (the equivalent of American zip codes)
I found examples of U.K. post codes online and entered one. Piece of cake. Im barely able to turn on a computer so pretty much anyone can do it. Since I dont like watching stuff on my computer I just run an hdmi cable from laptop to the TV. Ive been able to watch a lot of shows that arent available in the US (Four in a Bed, This Country, etc.) and pretty much everything is available on demand. It required a bit of effort but well worth the time.

(297,026 posts)It's makes my head swirl just reading what you're talking about.
It's really neat that you can do that.. who knew!
Have fun! I love watching stuff that I really like.. so relaxing! I like spy series, thrillers, and mysteries.

(9,313 posts)I've considered signing up with a VPN. NordVPN seemed to be on a number of top ten lists. Just wondering if there is one you would recommend

(9,313 posts)And Hoopla has some other great stuff. For example, I recently came across some Wallander films on Hoopla I was unaware of (with Rolf Lassgård -- I have watched the Swedish series with Krister Henriksson and UK series with Kenneth Branagh). Also, Hoopla has the the latest series of the French show Spiral, which I couldn't find elsewhere.
Anyway, it was fun to find a FREE way to stream. Highly recommend.

(46,166 posts)And the books are so good, too. You get to know what they're thinking more than they can do on tv. But I always picture Brenda Blethyn as Vera.
