This is the more likely outcome of a "good guy with a gun" when faced with a real threat

Big talk and bravado will never overcome reality and threatening circumstances. Cops TRAIN to react to such a situation. They are immersed in proper response. And even THEY get it wrong. To think a teacher or custodian or cafeteria lunch lady is going to stand strong and steady in the face of a crazed young man with an assault rifle pointed at them is just plain nuts.

The kids who demonstrated today are FAR more right than any gun humper.

America needs to DO SOMETHING REAL. Not timid half measures and bullshit bump stock bans. We all know what we need. We need NO GUNS.

If someone wants to show REAL strength, stand up to the NRA, the gun lobby, and all the American Gun Humpers. Make a STAND.

Most "good guys with guns" as going to choke and at best not be helpful, at worst kill innocent people.

On June 8, 2014, Jerad and Amanda Miller decided they were going to "start the revolution." After killing two police officers, they went to a Walmart. Good guy with a gun Joseph Wilcox pulled his piece and went to confront Jerad. Amanda killed Wilcox with her own gun.

The Millers had previously gone to the Bunkerville Standoff. After the Millers' plans (they wanted to kill government employees) were discovered, the other militia members ordered them to leave the area.

An untrained "good guy" trying to take on the Bad Guys without assistance is worse than useless.
