I saw this in the International New York Times, and just had to modify it to fit the reality of today:

(58,785 posts)Self-induced craziness. Be careful what you read. Kool-Aide is being served lavishly on the left as well.
Instead of the hate and fear themes fed the right, our side's being fed "demotivator" themes. All's corrupt, decline too far gone, all's lost.
Remind anyone of anything being posted here? Be aware. Be smart. Be safe and sane.

I notice the morale-demolition squad, too. Some people will be in a personal position that indeed leaves the impression that we are in a bottomless pit from which there is no emerging, but I think some are on here to promote that point of view to people who wouldn't otherwise necessarily share it.

I read there's real worry that they might mess with voter registration rolls, far easier than vote tallies, for instance disenfranchising Republicans in various districts, causing long lines, etc., and then blaming it on attempts by the Democratic Party to steal control of congress. Many would leap to believe we took power by fiat instead of voter mandate, and not just Republicans. Many are naturally prone to suspicion and distrust even without the Kool-Aid flowing through all media, so a low hanging-fruit tactic.
Also miss Senator Frank's sense of humor, and insight? Trump may naturally be mostly paleoconservative by personality, but clearly his dominant ideology is "I want." And he still doesn't seem to realize there will be no second term.
