11. My Guess Is That After The Loss In PA18 The Repugs & Trump Had A Come To Jesus.....

revelation that they are going to get slaughtered in 2018 and that they better start making some calculated decisions now to quell the slaughter. They have to be thinking - what can we do to get back into the good graces of the voters - so that we have a fighting chance in 2018.

My guess is that perhaps Putin was even involved with this decision. Putin has to realize if Trump & the Repugs keep ignoring Putin's interference here in the U.S. that the Repugs will lose the power of Congress (House & Senate) and render Trump impotent - and even perhaps impeach him.

Putin needs his puppet and the Repug Party. So - a calculated decision was made. Sanction us/Russia - so it looks like you are getting tough on Russia. My guess is that they talked over which sanctions won't do that much damage to Russia - and those are the ones that they are running with. In other words - throw them some crumbs.

Now Trump can say - see they criticized me when I didn't enforce the sanctions and now that I've enforced the sanctions - they are still criticizing me. Look - I am tough on Russia.

I would also watch for other kind of positive things that the Repugs will do that could appeal to middle of the road voters. The Repugs are running scared and they will be looking for ways to overcome a lot of the criticism that they've been receiving.
