And as the strip correctly points out (take note Republican readers), a thorough investigation was indeed done by BushCo, and guess what they found:
Most of those charged have been Democrats, voting records show. Many of those charged by the Justice Department appear to have mistakenly filled out registration forms or misunderstood eligibility rules, a review of court records and interviews with prosecutors and defense lawyers show.
We owe Garry Trudeau another immense thank you for this story arc:

(17,852 posts)Pinal County, AZ - Documents reportedly in the hands of the Pinal County Attorneys Office accuse John Enright, a Republican candidate for the District 5 seat on the countys board of supervisors, of voter fraud, sources allege.
A complaint accuses Enright of voting since 2007 by early ballots sent to his late long-time girlfriend, Sheila May Nassar, who died in 2007. Her early ballots were mailed in, along with his own, said a source who volunteered in Pinal County elections. The couple shared a home after Nassars husband abandoned her. She suffered from multiple sclerosis.
Voter records show Enrights current wife, Sharon Keiser also has received early voter ballots at the same address, but when asked if she ever filled out ballots in the name of Sheila May Nassar, she answered with an emphatic No.
. . . . . .
July 25, 2012 Reports have been confirmed regarding a raid on the home of John Enright in Gold Canyon, Arizona yesterday by the County Attorneys office. Stay tuned as more information becomes available.

(35 posts)there is no voting fraud, but there is election fraud and apathy. We are 39 among all the countrys with elections on voting participation among elgible voters.
Each election year was proceeded by tv adds, to register, and vote not by fraudulant claims that too many people were voting.
Tis true, there is a sucker born every minute, and some of them host news shows or went into government.
