There are obvious reasons why it would be sealed, I think.
But is it possible, is it a little bit likely?

(58,598 posts)Like you say, obviously he wouldn't want to undercut other threads of investigation by letting something like that out of the bag too early.
From the evidence we have in the open press, it sure seems like he has a solid case.
Would love to see the look on Trump's face when he sits down at the table opposite Mueller, and Mueller lays down that big sealed envelope with "Official Department of Justice Business" on it, and says "Guess what this is, Mr Trump."

(9,670 posts)For instance, what if Trump fired Mueller, or delegated that duty to a subordinate. That is actually prima facie evidence of obstruction of justice. Perhaps Mueller couldn't file any further indictments after his firing, but he could order that indictments already filed but under seal be unsealed.
Maybe. Don't know. Not a criminal attorney.
