I wonder where everybody was living when the contract was signed (though not by Trump). Not sure it will make any difference if they wind up in federal court because it would have to apply state law anyhow. One funny thing is that in this document they admit Trump was a party to the contract. These are the worst lawyers ever.

...for something supposedly didn't happen.

PS, I saw her lawyer on Morning Joe this morning and yesterday on Nicole's show. He sure seemed pretty confident that he's got proof-positive that Stormy's telling the truth, and has more to tell. His demeanor is the polar opposite of Trump. He's sure of himself, but out of conviction as opposed to being a cocky snake-oil salesman. Unlike trump's lawyers, who range from comical to outright deranged.

The appellate court for the CA federal courts is the dreaded liberal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the court Trump especially loves to hate. This is certainly just a delaying tactic but even if they succeed I don't see how it actually helps them.
