Just a reminder, as if we really needed one.

The Rude Pundit
@rudepundit
The last two Democratic presidents were a Rhodes scholar and a law professor before going into politics.
The last two Republican presidents were/are a failed oil executive and a reality TV star.
Just wanted to point that out.

Speaking of tRump he said "He will sign anything we place in front of him". And so he does. The gop does not promote intelligent people, they want stooges who want the prestige of being president, when they have no qualifications (or even QUALITIES) President Obama made it look easy, while working extremely hard. tRump thinks it is a reality show.

Last decent, well educated Republican President was Eisenhower.

Nixon was well educated, but not decent.

Ford was well educated, but a bit of a buffoon as President.

Carter graduated 60th out of 820 in his class from Annapolis with a Bachelor of Science degree and studied Nuclear Reactors.

Reagan was a C student in Economics and Sociology.

HW Bush attended Yale and served admirably in WWII, but was a bit of a dick as president.

Clinton was a Rhodes Scholar.

W Bush was a C student and failed at every business venture he ever undertook and was, in my opinion, PLACED into office specifically to start a war in the middle east. His biggest success.

Obama was the first black editor of the Harvard law Review and graduated with a Juris Doctor Magna Cum Laude

Trump is a con artist reality TV show figure who has screwed every single person he has ever met, both literally and figuratively and is now working on the population as a whole.

There is simply no comparison. Republicans put up who they can find.

Democrats find the best people.

The fact that they have put party over country makes them all unfit for office, IMO.

And it is all too real.

He has said that he wants to capture the ratings every day, acts as a TV producer doing the WH reality show. A blockbuster announcement or scandal every single day--that's what gets those ratings!

Then he watches Fox and Friends to see how he did.

Don't forget that we also nominated a Yale Law grad in 2012.
We nominated a war hero in 2004.
We nominated an award-winning investigative journalist and attorney in 2000.
We nominated a Harvard Law grad and Eagle Scout in 1988.
We nominated an Army veteran and University of Minnesota Law School grad in 1984.

In short, we nominate smart, accomplished, decent, law-abiding human beings who care about their fellow human beings.

The R's? Dimwits or sociopaths. Or both. You know — just like their base.

That'll be Trump eventually, nobody REALLY supported him is what they will say. The first day he is out of office, "Trump supporters? Who are they? Never heard of them! I was definitely never one!"
