Wow, Trump was SLAMMED on a TV show!

He was OBLITERATED on Twitter.

And then he got BLASTED on a blog.

But that guy who said that thing on TV was great! He was so smart at saying stuff. So was that lady. She’s brilliant and says smart stuff on TV a lot!

Can’t wait till Monday when it all happens again.

And, the best part, is that someone on Twitter said that there’s something big brewing AFTER Monday!

I think I know what it is. And if I’m right, then after Monday, there’s going to be TUESDAY! Hah, I’ll bet Trump isn’t even expecting that!

After Tuesday is over, he’s FINISHED. Until Wednesday at least.

10. This is funny, and I can understand it in different ways.

First, lets note your reason for posting. Frustration and helplessness. Me too.
Its also a critique of those who are breathlessly wrapped up on the 'show'. But those people are feeling just as frustrated and helpless but it comes out differently. They pin hopes on this or that because of this. They then post that 'hope'.

When this or that hope passes, the next thing is raised. They just want justice served and sanity to return.

We are desperate, for justice and a return to normalcy. I am sure many folks feel as I do that western civilization and democracy is at stake, imo.

So again, this OP is legitimately funny as a self critique of our behaviors, but absent physically taking to the streets and occupying government buildings (which may be needed!), this is how we behave.

11. I went through a cycle that I might just repeat

After the election, I turned off the news and turned my attention to home improvement projects and hobbies.

I got a lot of productive shit done.

Didn't really even take a look at DU for a long while.

Then, when things started looking as if they were heading for a resolution, I got interested again. Now, months later, I think I'm ready to start another bathroom project, and leave this reality show to sort itself out.
