Hey Chuck Schumer:

Instead of stating Trump shouldn't "Cross a Red Line", how about this, "if Trump fires Robert Muller, the wrath off the American people will shut this country down and he will be finished." "Don't even think about it."

No more idle threats!

...given the number of idle threats and bluster that Schumer if known for, but I was afraid I would get attacked for being anti-Dem or whatever the latest insult du jour is around here for anyone who dares suggest anything Dems might do better at any point.

5. But Americans won't 'shut this country down' over Mueller

I'd wager a large percentage of Americans aren't clear on who Mueller even is

In that context, Schumer's comments are likely appropriate

"It would be one of the greatest, greatest breaking of rule of law, of traditional democratic norms of what our democracy is about," Schumer said. "It would cause a cataclysm in Washington.''

I'm satisfied for the Dem leader to speak to his responsibilities as a legislator.

That's how we ended up in this ridiculous situation in the first place.
