Federal employees are under the political gun to do damage and even break the law or risk losing your job and your person no matter how long you have been on the job. It is probably hell to be on the federal payroll right now with the Trump/GOP hit squad running things.

Employees in law enforcement, intelligence or regulatory agencies are on notice to look the other way or overlook violations of law. Our scientists are being forced to ignore or advance phony science. We can only imagine he terrorism going on. Anyone registered as a Democrat has to be concerned.

Remember the GOP and Trump do not recognize civil service. Trump believes federal employees are HIS to do anything he wants with them. The McCabe firing sends some really seriously threatening messages.

This administration IS the worst. Every department headed by somebody intent on its dismantling, in one manner or another.
State is a shadow of its former self. EPA, well not enough words can describe. Interior, scared self indulgent fool citing scripture instead of conservership of resources. HUD headed by. Did. Education, needs educating. Agriculture, removing everything 44 put in place, reinstituting old out of date inside agency rules which affect employees.
Well all agencies are doing the latter. Those that resign do so out of fear of firing or because they can retire with years.
Mine recently rolled back telework from 4/ week to 1 per week. Upper management does as told, workers tees off.
ALL this coupled with $$$ cut each and every year.
Low morale but plenty of work
