Kristal knows damn well this Repug Congress - as a whole - will not demand anything of Trump. He's their master.

LOL, he won't even support all the laws they pass, thus violating his oath of office and they won't hold him accountable!

They are intimidated because they don't know the thing they signed it's worth shit.
Trump is a bully, and he will bully these people because they won't know any better.

It will take somebody like Mueller to explain it to them.

He is certainly being sarcastic. Kristol has been strongly anti-Trump since early on in the GOP primary process, but has also been upset about the GOP dropping the ball on checking Trump.

While I'm not pretending he's a friend of the Democrats, he's an ally in the battle against Trump.
