(10,712 posts)I used to use facebook to keep up with distant relatives and friends. I recall at one point they had a very complex thing I was supposed to go over and make my decisions about content privacy; it was pretty opaque and I didn't see why - never filled it out. That was about the same time they started filling up the page with ads, politics and news, and I started using it less, now not at all. Screw 'em, their product went to crap and fixing it would mean losing profits, which the corporate body wouldn't stand for; so it goes.
