she could have come out BEFORE THE ELECTION, when it would have made a difference - but she had already been PAID OFF

Like so many of us, she probably thought there was no way in HELL he'd win and she might as well get the money while the getting was good--after he lost, who would care? No to be indelicate, but her career in front of the camera is probably over from the looks of things (altho I understand she works on the production side, as well and that doesn't age-out like acting does).
And no matter what else she has done, at least she's not allowing the bully to shut her up now as so very, VERY many have done. She's also giving cover to others who have been afraid to come forward...stream becomes a river, river becomes an ocean...if it helps sink Don John the Con, it helps us all.
So we give her a bit of a pass and watch where this goes.

Personally, I think an open arrangement between a person that sells something that another person wants is far preferable to a clause hidden in dense documentation that allows someone (corporations are "ones"
to rape another's savings.
