Between Stormy, the new law suit by Karen McDougal, and the promise of more to come, Trump is making Bill Clinton's escapade seem like small beer.

I shall apologize to Charles, if I am lucky enough to run into him, when I'm on the other side of the veil!

(19,473 posts)Starting when he was quite young, and he behaved well throughout. He even displayed physical courage during the Great Fire. I can't imagine Trump coping with either of those trials.
Charles had many faults, but he was a far better man and head of state than Trump.

Have you ever seen the film 'Restoration', with Robert Downey Jr. and Sam Neill? Love that film.

(26,259 posts)Downey plays a physician during the Great Plague/Fire. I thought Sam Neill would be far too handsome to play Charles, but he really pulls it off. And the cinematography is astonishing.
Beyond Downey and Neill, the cast includes Meg Ryan, Sir Ian McKellen and David Thewlis.
It is one of those films with an ending that always brings on the eye waterworks, for me.

(22,976 posts)Well hell's bells, by that standard, the American people sure deserve to know ALL about 45, that s.o.b.'s been outside the law his entire life. And now he's off the leash and punishing all Americans (some still don't know it) with his insanity.
The double-standard would be laughable if Democrats weren't always coming up on the short end of it. And you're right -- it would be sweet revenge if it could FINALLY be turned around on 45.
