This reporter with The Guardian is killing it! She broke the Cambridge Analytica story and continues to expose them. There is a lot in this story.Link to tweet
This story took MONTHS to stand up. But I have seven sources on record and eyewitness accounts. Israeli hackers worked alongside Cambridge Analytica and hacked current president of Nigeria & prime minister of St Kitts.

Emails included medical records of President Buhari. Cambridge Analytica was working for his opponent, Goodluck Jonathan. Staff told to search for 'kompromat'. Dirt to smear him with.

NEW: In 2015, Cambridge Analytica director, Brittany Kaiser, introduced computer hackers to Cambridge Analytica employees who say they stole the President of Nigeria's personal emails. Kaiser later appeared on launch panel of @Nigel_Farage's @LeaveEUOfficial campaign.

Cambridge Analytica was offered politicians' hacked emails, witnesses say
Hackers offered personal data about future Nigerian president and future PM of St Kitts and Nevis, sources say
The data analytics firm that worked on the Donald Trump election campaign was offered material from Israeli hackers who had accessed the private emails of two politicians who are now heads of state, witnesses have told the Guardian.
Multiple sources have described how senior directors of Cambridge Analytica including its chief executive, Alexander Nix gave staff instructions to handle material provided by computer hackers in election campaigns in Nigeria and St Kitts and Nevis.
They claim there were two episodes in 2015 that alarmed members of staff and led them to refuse to handle the data, which they assumed would have been obtained illegally.
SCL Elections, Cambridge Analyticas parent company, denied taking possession of or using hacked or stolen personal information from such individuals for any purpose in either campaign.

(6,288 posts)Cambridge was set to take on the world.
True thatvif the US can't prosecute for their overreach in this case, the Brits certainly will
And there are othr countrirs that will as well.
They see what happened in the US in 2016, and the threat is one that they will deal with.
FVEYS work together for each other & Cambridge will face those nations laws in this obscene grab for global power

(14,167 posts)Pig.gi, which gives 1.2 million users in Mexico and Colombia free airtime and data in exchange for watching ads and taking surveys, says its never worked on a political campaign with Cambridge. The startup did share results on two election polls and occasional aggregated data on non-political preferences, but said it does so with other partners as well.
In light of the recent allegations, we have taken steps to formally, completely end any kind of commercial relationship with them, Pig.gi founder and Chief Executive Officer Joel Phillips told Bloomberg. Obviously, if we could look back and see how this would progress, we would have said no, this is probably not the best people to take money from.
<snip>
Cambridge told Bloomberg last summer it was scouting for a Mexican presidential candidate whose campaign it could join ahead of July elections. Then-vice president of business development, Brittany Kaiser, told Bloomberg she hoped to use data mined from Pig.gi to help a Mexican candidate and client. But in December, the executive said Cambridge was just managing commercial clients in Latin America and was no longer seeking political customers. Kaiser, who has left the consultancy, declined to comment.

Let's congratulate the Mexican politicians for not using this scum, if that's the case.

(15,805 posts)How deep is Israel involved? Were they tilting the scales to make sure the Trump got elected, and they got a very pro Israel president who is eager for more wars in the ME that are beneficial to them?
This whole monstrous Trumpian scam is snowballing faster than I can keep up with, and I think we're only seeing the tip of the iceberg when it comes to who was in collusion to weaken and hollow out our country.

(9,600 posts)It is amazing how well they infiltrated the United States. The CIA, NSA, and FBI need to really examine the overall national security exposed by Cambridge Analytica.
