Thank you Al Franken!

And thank you Sen. Leahy!

Why? For this:

EXCLUSIVE: Fired FBI official authorized criminal probe of Sessions, sources say

According to the sources, McCabe authorized the criminal inquiry after a top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vermont, and then-Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., wrote a letter in March 2017 to the FBI urging agents to investigate "all contacts" Sessions may have had with Russians, and "whether any laws were broken in the course of those contacts or in any subsequent discussion of whether they occurred."

Thu Mar 22, 2018, 10:13 AM
Mar 2018

He won't but why shouldn't he?

And the answer to your probable question is: no, i don't believe the accusers. One is an obvious liar and plant, one has questionable memory, one showed a hypersensitivity to her own appearance, another has a story contradicted by someone else who was there and the others were anonymous.

A minimum of one of those accusers had a personal gain in the "story". Not true of Moore, not true of the sloth in the White House. And Roger Stone and Sean Hannity were involved. So, i'm not hanging anything on the veracity of people making any claims, about anything, in those circumstances.

He was, imo, railroaded, and the idea that the people of MN would not have had the sufficient judgment to make up their own minds, you know like the people of Alabama did(!), is an unforgivable breach of the public trust.

That you don't see that is what i don't understand.

She is not fit to be a Democrat!

Sherrod Brown received an ear full from me,too! He answers his emails. Sherrod Tried to explain why he did that. By talking about how harassment was important.

I answered by telling him he was avoiding what I said about the woman being hired by Clear Channel and there were many videos of her doing worse to others. He did not answer that one.

I have admired Sherrod Brown since he flew back from his Mothers funeral to cast the deciding vote on the ACA.

I will vote for him because his opponent is a dirty Republican, but he really disappointed me on Al.

Clear Channel declared bankruptcy so I hope she is out of a job, too!

and I hope she gets successfully primaried -- but I doubt that will happen.

That said, if she's the candidate, please, folks, hold your noses and vote against the Republican by voting for Railroad Lady. It's a tough thing to do, I admit. But you have to remember that the call for Al's resignation was endorsed by a lot of Democratic Senators -- Warren being just the most upsetting of them -- who may have shown exceedingly craven judgment in this case, but they're the only soldiers we've got, at least at the moment.

2. Al Franken put Sessions on the spot and forced him to recuse himself, and eventually see to it that Robert Mueller was appointed as Special Counsel.

3. Out of the blue, Roger Stone and InfoWars cryptically tweeted about Franken's "time in the barrel"

4. The next day, the news broke about Leeann Tweeden--who toured with Franken on a USO tour before he was a Senator and who like Roger Stone was also a frequent guest of Sean Hannity--claiming Franken sexually harassed her and provided a photo from the tour where it appears Franken was reaching towards her chest while she slept. (Franken apologized for the photo and admitted it was in bad taste, but denied all other claims of inappropriate behavior).

5. After about a month of continued pressure against Franken, Franken resigns his Senate seat.

backstabbing of Franken and the subsequent special election it engendered, she might be opposed by Richard Painter, a decent man who has staunchly opposed trump over and over again on the cable news shows.

And that exposure he gets is a blessing for Democrats opposed to trump but a problem for the Democrat he may oppose in the special election.

She gets no exposure at all.
