Cambridge Analytica targeted Sanders Supporters to dissuade them from voting for Clinton [View all]

See ten minutes mark.

This echoed rhetoric from Trump campaign. Head of Cambridge Analytica claims they wrote Trump’s speeches in another episode of Channel 4’s expose.

We knew about Russian bots and trolls before the election from hell. But Hilary supporters were targeted too. They were fed lies
about Bernie's civil rights record, led to believe he was anti-woman and that his supporters were mostly young male "bros" and misogynists. until many Hilary supporters were spitting fire at their fellow Dems who supported Bernie in the primary. After a few months of this, hundreds of DUers fled to JPR, where the anti Hilary trolls convinced many that Hilary was evil. It worked in both directions across the intertubes and fueled endless divisiveness right here on DU. And it's happening again right now.

Was Lamb regularly attacked as a Sanders Independent?

Republicans don’t hate Sanders. They hate accomplished people like Pelosi and Clinton.

With your thought process you seem to be looking for Clinton to run again.

re-election (provided Trump makes it through his term and is not facing charges from Mueller, a huge IF for sure) and the SCOTUS will be 7-2 or 8-1 conservative till the 2030's or so. A nightmare!

He (Sanders) will not do it. I cannot see him taking that path to national destruction.

It's not just that I could never trust Sanders to behave honorably or wisely or that I would never forgive him for his betrayals, it's that he will never be good enough for good people to support.

We need leaders who are honorable and competent, not just charismatic. There are many others. Sanders' avowed agenda was not too far left for me. I'm very interested in who steps up next.

First off, he's not actually a Democrat and second, we don't need another replay of 2016. Let's just focus on finding a new Democratic candidate for 2020 to take on Trump.

Those facts are confirmed daily, by the minute even. Check the Mueller indictments, watch even minimal news. It’s all over radio shows, although probably not on the RT disinformation shows — they were supporting Bernie (see the facts about Russian trolls helping Bernie to hurt Hillary). We need to stick to reality.

Frankly, trying to pretend it is opposite world where Bernie was really the victim is the more accurately described trolling.

Just as 2016 looked winnable to the Republicans and attracted a dozen candidates, so 2020 will look even more winnable to the Democrats and there will be at least a dozen primary candidates.

At this point you can only speculate on who they will be. Who would have thought in March '14 that Ben Carson would be running 2 years later?
