Newly named White House national security adviser John Bolton tried to distance himself from his past statements on Thursday, mere minutes after being named President Donald Trump's new top national security aide.
Bolton told Fox News' "The Story" that his past comments are now "behind me" and what matters is "what the President says."

(115,578 posts)and extreme in his views. It will be interesting to see how he and Trump, who can't stand to be bossed around, get along. And what about Russia? Bolton has been a Russia hawk for a long time, and he would like very much to bomb Iran, which would make Trump's BFF Putin very angry.
I'm not giving Bolton's tenure as NSA more than a few months; I just hope he doesn't start blowing stuff up before Trump fires him because he's too bossy, or he quits because he can't stand Trump's stupidity.

(19,558 posts)He's pulling the "I have sinned and been forgiven" BS. Except in this case his savior is Trump? Seriously?!
How brainwashed do you have to be to buy this load of bull?
