Trump and Bolton will come into conflict very quickly.

Bolton is very opinionated and has a strong personality. Since neither Bolton nor Trump is capable of compromise things will fall apart as soon as the first decision comes up.

Trump will fire Bolton as soon as he feels threatened.

As Mika said today on 'MORNING JOE', all that matters to him is SEX and MONEY.

I would add that the third priority are his ratings and seeing his name and face on media and in print. It's all a big show for this idiot but a very dangerous one for every living thing on the planet.

Mika also said that when he was getting his first security briefing, he asked three times, "Why do we have nukes, if we're not going to use them?" Holy shit.

As far as Bolton, the more I read and learn, I now agree that Russia won't be in his sights right now, he'll be focused on getting his 'War On' with Iran and North Korea. Bolton sees the entire world as a bunch of nails and he's the hammer.

This weekend may turn out to be one to remember in history and not in a good way. "Buckle up" is putting it mildly.

The fact that neither of them care about that is kind of frightening.

I think he'll tolerate it longer than we think. If Bolton doesn't start World War Three first, I think it'll be weeks or even months before Trump gets tired of him.

I know one thing that could get Bolton fired--if he starts some stupid conflict and a Trump property gets destroyed, and his insurance company refuses to pay because he started the war himself. THEN Trump will get pissed enough to go looking for a scapegoat.

And Bolton has a whole army of skeletons in his closet. Before he gets to sit down in his office, he'll be ripped apart by the press and other politicians. He'll be damaged goods from the get-go.

Both Trumpy and Bolton are major bullies. But Bolton WILL have to kiss Trumpy's fat ass in order to survive, which means he'll have to bury his head in those ample cheeks, occasionally come up for air to breathe and wipe off the butt sweat.

One of the interesting dynamics that will play out is that Trumpy uses his bullying to promote himself. He's really not interested in war, even though he can talk himself into it if he tries. Bolton, on the other hand, is mesmerized by the power of killing on a massive scale, and is far more serious about blowing up parts of the globe and killing millions just to prove a hypothetical point. Trumpy, then, may inherit the position of RESTRAINING Bolton, who may not really understand Trumpy's con game. Therein lies the pending conflict, IMO.

He must already know that the best way to say on Trump's good side is to kiss his ass like it's nobody's business.

Now whether or not Bolton is that conniving, we'll just have to see. But at some point he's going to slip up and try to browbeat Trump... And that's when he'll be toast.
