How about they blame Donald Trump and the Republican Party? Donald Trump is President and the Republican Party controls both houses of congress. If they did not want this spending bill it could have been stopped. Coulter and Drudge should just tell the truth. Neither Trump nor the Republican Party was ever about bring down deficits and debt. As Democrats have been saying for years, the majority of the American debt was created under Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush, two Conservative Republicans. Democrats are the ones who have been fiscally responsible, balanced budgets, and reduced debt. As Randi Rhodes used to say and probably still says, if you want balanced budgets and debt reduction vote Democratic.
