In the weeks after the election. We were all grasping at whatever straws we could see. One was Ivanka. That surely, she could be the mediator between crazy and competent. That she would make sure her daddy didn't go off the rails. One indication that gave false hope was her apparent meeting with Al Gore, and her dad, and her 'advice' to not pull out of the Paris Climate agreement. She seemed sane, she seemed rational, such an attractive innocent face too.

But there was a reason she didn't ever speak out against her father. She was completely complicit along with her husband the whole time.
