Ivanka Trump Reportedly Blew Up at Her Dad for Disrespecting Jared

Amid news of his legal woes and downgraded security clearance, Jared Kushner can count on wife Ivanka Trump to defend him to President Trump, according to a new report from Vanity Fair.

In a new profile documenting the couple’s turbulent time in the White House, an official from Trump’s 2016 campaign said that while Trump was running for president, Ivanka once stormed into her father’s office in Trump Tower and told him, “You have no idea what [Kushner is] sacrificing to be here and how hard he is working for you.”

According to the campaign official, after Ivanka told her father that his “lack of appreciation hurt her,” Trump “caved immediately” and asked his daughter, “What does he want?”

After campaigning for his father-in-law, Kushner was tasked with overseeing relations with Mexico and helping to secure peace in the Middle East peace.

What, exactly, has Jared sacrificed to work in the White House? I know he can't draw pay without running afoul of the anti-nepotism laws Republicans insisted on enacting after Bobby Kennedy was AG for his brother the President. So, he's forfeited some salary, but that's really a choice he made, presumably after evaluating all his options. He can quit anytime and get a real job.

Has he placed any of his investments in a blind trust? Is he using his position to further his own interests in any way, like trying to secure funding from foreign governments and investors for some of his properties? It's rumored that he's deeply underwater on at least one property, and each day the deadline to pay off that debt draws closer.

What has Jared sacrificed, Ivanka? You're his wife. Surely you're in a position to know that, and let the American people know just what your financial situation is, who you owe, and whether Jared's using his unpaid job to try to wangle a loan or two.
