This has been amazing.

Saw a sign earlier that read

“How can I vote for you if i’m Dead”

That optic of all the signs up at once was powerful.

I heard one of the young activists say they had been approached to endorse candidates. Their answer is NO! This a movement for change, period.

I actually enjoyed Miley Cyrus ... that may be a first ... funny how out of touch I am with teeny-bopper music (though I'm still up on the modern rock) ... EVERYONE knew that song of hers ... don't think I ever heard it, if so only once. Probably cause I don't have kids.

Anyways that whole thing was really great although I kinda wish the crowd had been a bit louder in their chants ... the fact that everyone's so far away and there were no screens further back in the crowd I think dimmed the enthusiasm at least a bit. Had they been at a spot like the Polo Grounds at SF with lots of screens and everyone closer (but obviously spread more horizontally) it would have made for a lot more crowd involvement and intimacy, but that's nit-picking ... it was still a totally glorious event, the kids did great.

Though I gotta admit I was worried there for a minute that Emma was broken ...

Great job everyone!
