Romney Camp Reverses Decision, Will Allow Press At Jerusalem Fundraiser
The Romney campaign has reversed a controversial decision to ban the media from a Monday morning fundraiser at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, reports the Associated Press. On Saturday, the campaign announced that press could not cover the event violating an agreement with the press to allow them to cover fundraisers held in public venues including hotels.
Billionaire Romney supporter Sheldon Adelson is expected to attend the event, which the campaign estimates will raise over $1 million.

Adviser Downplays Fallout Of Romneys London Flub
Romney campaign senior adviser Kevin Madden on Sunday downplayed the bad press Mitt Romney has gotten over his remarks questioning Londons readiness for the Olympics.
I dont think that a gaffe or a YouTube moment is really going to make or break this particular election, he said on ABCs This Week. I think that the headlines that come out of London on one day are not going to be as important as the overall view that people take when it comes to our economic prosperity here at home, and then our safety and security around the globe.

(22,336 posts)3. Does Romney really feel "Safety and security around the globe" is a strong point for him?
I know he thinks the economy is a strong point for him, given all his business experience (shipping jobs overseas and his banking experience in Switzerland, but whatever), but what experience does he have with global safety and security?

I believe Mitt makes a point of knowing the rules, so he can figure out ways around them. His team messed up with this last one, so they have to act like they are complying because they want to.
