I really don't give a shit.
Honestly? I think Trump's people are still paying her, to be a distraction.
Our news media is more interested in sex scandals, since they are rather easy to cover.
The real scandals involving Trump, and the Russians, are more complex, and easy to lose an audience if they get bored.

(46,317 posts)The more important Mueller investigation is being neglected.
And what question is more important?
Did Trump pay hush money to a porn actress?
Or did his campaign use Russian money and a shady data analysis company?

(17,043 posts)I don't give a rats ass about what they did or didn't do. The REAL crimes are occurring right in front of our faces.
I do not plan on watching because it will make NO difference with what is really happening.

(1,227 posts)and plausible, but there are just too many gagged women (pun not intended) coming foreward for me to buy that. Coupled with the fact that she's already got loads of cash and likely, as a porn star, has little vested interest in politics other than spanking the guy who screwed her and America (also, pun not intended).
I expect more of these ladies to step-up. I'm thinking she's on her own payroll, not his.

(32,628 posts)... he quotes Steve Bannon as saying they paid off at least 100 women during Trump's campaign.
That's payoffs where they needed women to keep quiet about affairs or encounters with Trump, and most of them were not current. (They were things that happened years ago.) I guess Stormy Daniels was one of them, but I can't be sure. The Stormy thing didn't hit until after the book was published, so Wolff doesn't mention her specifically. Attorney Michael Cohen knows who all the women are, and apparently he's the one who paid them all.
I don't think we've heard the end of this.

(1,227 posts)I think Daniels is the trickle before the flood.
Not sure if Congress cares, though. Gotta keep on the Mueller investigation. In that sense, Archae is on-point.
dawg day
(7,947 posts)The Playboy Bunny who "sold" her story to Trump's friend Pecker (can't make that up).
She was not Stormy. In fact, she was amazingly vapid. "Yes, I was in love with him, and he was in love with me." Well, what did you love about him?
No joke-- she said he had good posture.
It's interesting to see what counts as "love". She seemed perplexed to find that not only did he have a wife at the time (she knew that already) but also that he was getting it on with Stormy and others the whole time. Or not getting it on--- I think maybe he's a lot more talk than action.
But boy, she was vapid. I much prefer Stormy, who has a real edge to her.

(1,227 posts)But I heard about it in abundance. Despite how vacuous she may be, she let asshat stick his junk in her while he was sticking his junk in an unknown number of other people.
Morally, that shit is repugnant, but it wont likely solve our current problem. So, while I dont think Daniels is being paid by the Chump still it is both disturbing but politically inconsequential. Archae is on the right track: Mueller not sensational pornstars and playboy bunnies.
Focus on the money laundering. I know it's less sexy than fake boobs and bimbos on TV, but its the money shot.
Pun intended.

We decide near dictatorship or democracy on the basis of manufactured fake scandals.
And we can't bring down an idiotic lying gritting criminal worst president ever without a sex scandal....
