How long could RUMP drag this on with the excuse

4. I don't think it is a stall
To be turned down by top law firms is humiliating to Trump. His narcissistic personality would not accept such a strategy. Trump is dealing with the consequences of his own chaos; reputable attorneys don't want to be treated like Tillerson or McMaster when they can't give Trump the answers or advice he wants. If he were to try and set his lawyers against each other like he does with his staff, it would be a nightmare for both the lawyers and Trump himself. Mueller is working away while the Trump team is floundering. If this is a strategy, it is a particularly bad one.

2. It is a personal sign of weakness
I don't think it would play very well. He would never admit to it anyway.
There might be a run on chicken costumes with individuals showing up at every Trump rally. Also protestors should all carry rolled up magazines and signs saying "Resign Old Spanky". |

5. For a guy who has been able to skate from legal consequences his whole life
mostly because of having a bevy of lawyers readily at his disposal, this is particularly delicious irony.

12. Mostly hucksters and ambulance chasers...
backed up with strong arm tactics and intimidation. Worked well in small local courts fighting against opponents without his financial resources. "Stalling" has always been one of his most effective strategies. Most normal folks can't afford to spend years in litigation against him.

9. Impossible to say when he still won't admit that he can't get a lawyer.
That will be a significant admission of weakness, when it comes, and he'll probably try it out via one of his remaining attorneys.

I don't know how that all works. Honestly i cannot believe he stoop that low? Doesn't he have to show monetary problems to get public defender?

16. Yeah, I think you have to be destitute financially to get one...
but it would be poetic justice.
Hey, maybe we could get the Russians to call in all their paper on Trump. He might qualify then. ![]() |
