So, since Trump openly admitted---even bragged about---serial adultery and sexual assault,
when we continue to hear about his philandering it's not only no big deal it's really not even newsworthy according to his apologists.8 You know: "The American people elected him to be their president, not their pastor!" (I'll give you a second to control your gag reflex.)
If the above makes any sense at all to you, let's apply that same "logic" to some other situations no more outrageous than Trump's.
Candidate "A" openly admits that he is a white collar criminal and that nearly all of his income each year of his life has been generated by credit card scams, bank fraud, and embezzlement. So-o-o---- when A is elected and empties the treasury into his off-shore account no one should be surprised or upset or the slightest bit butt-hurt because, hey---IT'S JUST "A" BEING "A"! OR-----
Candidate "B" is widely known to be a pedophile and has been recorded boasting about his success in luring little girls into his car. Somehow, the pervert is elected and routinely cruises Lafayette Park and the Mall looking for unattended nine year olds. But, that's OK because, you see, he never pretended to be anything other than a pedophile so no one should be surprised or shocked. HE'S JUST BEING WHO HE IS! (How's that gag reflex doing now?)
