The past two years have been a cesspool of SHITLER everywhere, with a high majority of news items gratuitously carrying his f-face. One time I counted THIRTEEN (13) pics of his f-face on the front page of Politico alone. Besides the (lack of) aesthetics, here's a current example of the CONTENT abuse: The article is about somebody named Alexander ACOSTA who SHITLER saw on the Faux Propaganda Network, liking what he saw and asking whether ACOSTA might be a replacement for SESSIONS.
So, one would think that the article would carry a pic of the unknown (even to SHITLER, his own Labor Secretary) dude, but NOoooo, the pic inside the link is of SHITLER. Arrrgggghhh!1

.... Per WaPo, this happens more than you might think:
"Trump will see a segment on TV and begin musing for someone in a job, creating uncertainty. For example, he saw Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta on Fox & Friends one morning and asked an aide if he could be the next attorney general. The president has, for months, attacked Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who has so far survived the public belittling.
"Whether Trump was ever truly considering Acosta as attorney general is unclear; he will sometimes ask about five or 10 names a day for different jobs." ....

(15,543 posts)This lowbrow, lavishly lying entity - Comrade Casino* - is the very best the republicans have to offer to the world. They are holding him up as a role model for their children. Sad.

(253 posts)When T. rump first got the nomination, etc. the pictures the media used of him were more normalized (as much as possible with his looks) More airbrushed, network photos, etc. Now it's the complete opposite- every single still photo either shows his hands, mouth is open into anus-like manner, goofy closed lip smile, & stupid hat. I've seen this everywhere- it's almost become a game with my husband and kids - every shot from the media is so unflattering. Although that's not too hard I must say.

(70,684 posts)What could be in the minds of editors letting the scads of pics of him accompany all the items - like, what does his face ADD to the content, unless the content is about some change in his appearance itself?

(9,114 posts)over and over again. Just at your expression of outrage at the misfortune.
I mute him all the time. Hate all of his faces, the smug one, the mussolini one, the one where he thinks he's cute, the angry outraged one, the one where he looks imperious and in a mental fog simultaneously, like li'l bush, the one where he closes his eyes and beams like Shkreli.
I really hate the photo carel style of MSNBC shows that I like, where while they're talking about seriously nazi moves dRump is making, they show a loop of various still shots of that asshole.
In fact, once the election results were confirmed, the first thing I thought about was how we were being sentenced to see and hear from this thing, over and over, and hear about him, over and over, all the time, for years.
Way worse than even the Palin situation, because she was safely out of power, and look at how much coverage we got about her while she lost. Knew it was going to be exponentially worse since their new Palin 'won'.
Complete immersion in that sewer, being constantly exposed to him gets his stink all over us.
Having to have years of news that just sounds like 'tRump tRump tRump tRump tRump tRump'. My mind recoiled in horror.
But, like Naomi Klein said, shock wears off.
