Very reflective on the day. Lawrence O'Donnel is sort of like that.

The excuse for firing Greenfeld was that he was playing golf when some big thing happened but really he had Wesley Clark on almost every night explaining how disastrous the War on Iraq was going to be.

Where does he appear now? I mainly watch MSNBC, along with CBS Nightly News. Switch to CNN when too many repeats of stories on MSNBC, or during Tweety.

that Reagan lost a close primary in 1976 and came back and won in 1980.
Bush lost the primary in 1980 and came back and won in 1988.
Bob Dole lost the primary in 1988 and came back to win the GOP nomination in 1996 and he was in the Senate afterwards still.
McCain lost to Bush in 2000, came back and lost to Obama in 2008 and is still in the Senate
Romney lost to McCain in 2008, won the GOP nomination in 2012 and is now running for Senate in 2018
