From a purely grammatical point of view, why do you suppose “trump” is in quotation marks? What meaning do you suppose is being passed by that being the only word in quotation marks?

It seems to imply that the scientific method is real and trump is not, which seems to take away from the emphasis of the sign by making the “trump” method not real.
