Londons reluctance to share information on the poisoning of former double agent Sergei Skripal has led Moscow to strongly suspect that it was the actual perpetrator of the crime, the Russian ambassador to Britain said.

Moscow is increasingly convinced that Britain is the real culprit behind the attack, according to Russian Ambassador to the UK Alexander Yakovenko.
We have very serious suspicion that this provocation was done by British intelligence, Yakovenko told Russias NTV channel. He clarified that Russia has no direct proof of this suspicion, but the behavior of the British government constitutes strong circumstantial evidence in support of this theory.

(58,785 posts)even when we know it's a lie, our brain will tend to identify it as information and store it that way.
Also, we just forget where we heard something, and Democracy Now's message gets mixed up with a fine site like ProPublica's.
Maybe -- seriously -- we need to be careful what we expose ourselves to. We're not in control the way we think we are, and this stuff is incoming from all directions all the time.

(14,737 posts)But they are not. Mainly due to the main opposition party being a mess themselves. Jeremy Corbyn has got major anti semitism problems on his hands, and is himself much, much too pro-Putin.

(58,785 posts)shocking. Oh, maybe a tendency, but studies of these syndromes show that hanging with radicals tends to make people more radical as they reinforce each others' opinions. Their groups, reacting to external events, and we know these days to pernicious mind poisoning, often evolve further toward genuine extremism.
Watching this happen since I started spending time here in 2014 has been an education. It's what caused me to go read and find out what was happening. A lot of us know people over there we once chatted sensibly with here.

(23,336 posts)The French poisoned them, leaving evidence that points to England trying to frame Russia.
Their battle cry: "Je pète dans votre direction générale!" (I fart in your general direction). Disclaimer: Any error in translation is the fault of those Russians who invented Google.
