Bill Clinton to Nominate Obama at Convention

Politico reports that Bill will give the big nominating speech at the convention. This is the guy who can put into simple, bubba words the choice in this election. I assume the Koch bros and Adelson will do the first theeesome nominating speech at the lunatic gathering in Florida!!!!

from the perspective of a Democrat who actually wants Obama to win.

And it IS new to have someone other than the V.P. speak on the night before the nomination.

Incredible that he's biting the hand that showers him with billions.

Simpson seems like more of an Obama guy though, but who can tell what's going through Captain Bullshit's acorn-sized brain.

that night NBC has a big football game scheduled--first game of season Giants vs. Cowboys and you know that most people who aren't political geeks like us will end up watching Football.

I've never known of such a late convention--after Labor Day. It must be because the GOP selected a late convention themselves, but I think this will hurt our ratings.
