Jim Bakker excuses Trumps infidelities because King David was a womanizer“Our president, it is like he is in a war,” Bakker said in an video flagged by Right Wing Watch.
“He is not running the country like he should because he is trying to defend himself,” he continued. “Don’t kid yourself, he is in warfare. God spoke to me today on this broadcast; what you are experiencing in this nation through the television and through all the networking and through Hollywood and through everything now—everything—you are feeling a spirit which is the spirit of Antichrist. There is a war in the world against God.” Bakker addressed Christians who doubt Trump’s divine appointment based on his history of womanizing, infidelities, and divorces, saying that they need to remember that King David was also a “womanizer.” [link:http://deadstate.org/jim-bakker-excuses-trumps-infidelities-because-king-david-was-a-womanizer/|

Since when does Jim Bakker have a problem with infidelity?

9. Seriously. And Bakker will cry the Rapture is coming! every day until he dies and fundamentalists
will continue to believe that the rapture and antichrist and trumpets from heaven etc are all just about to happen because they are special vs other Christians in history so Jesus must be coming back for them!
And of course there will be no rapture...you would think that over time the fundies who are so into this idea would realize that the rapture predictions never come to pass. Yes. Exactly — the excuses these people make for Trump are just stunning. And yeah why didn’t they invoke the King David excuse for Bill I wonder?? Hmmmm... |

6. My favorite picture of Jim Bakker.
![]() Bawling like a fucking toddler after being busted for defrauding the public. This was, of course, after he was called out for cheating on his devoted wife with his secretary, a matter over which he shed no tears. |

11. Convicted felon, Trump WH invitee and spiritual advisor Bakker, who raped Jessica Hahn,...
....misses the point.
King David saw the error of his ways and very loudly and publicly sought redemption. Trump, even when caught on tape bragging about his assaults, calls the women liars and has said he has never sought forgiveness for anything. |

19. The "devine appointment of Trump" argument made by Evangelicals
is a theological spin lie that Evangelical leaders deliver to their churches which flies in the face of their religious principles. This is to argue that divine appointment also implies that God approves of the church members to go vote for a wicked political leaders despite his actions being diametrically opposed to their religious tenants. Devine appointment doesn't imply anything, other than God uses anyone to further God's purpose. It is simply the abandonment of their faith and as such, the height of hypocrisy for these people to vote for and continue to support this openly evil man.

23. More projection than a cineplex
It's just ridiculous how "chosen" they think Trump is after eight years of deriding Obama as the chosen one because they thought it made libruls mad. On the plus side, I haven't had to put up with quite so much quoting from Revelation, and the evil one who recovered from a grievous head wound (like a botched hair weave) such that he deceived many. Or badly understood quotes from Daniel about a little horn constantly saying boastful things.

22. I think David was bi-sexual actually
I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan; very pleasant hast thou been unto me. Thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women
David treated women like shit, as they weren’t considered exactly human just like the rest of the OT assholes in power. |
