Evil Dick Cheney: Obama got bin Laden but Bush "laid the groundwork," prefers Carter to "weak" Obama

Above: Bush "lays the groundwork" for killing bin Laden by ignoring the August 6th, 2001 presidential daily briefing entitled “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S."

Cheney does not know who donated the heart he received, since medical protocols keep that information confidential. There are, however, intermediaries who can reach out to a donor's family to see if they would be willing to meet recipients, and Cheney said he was "amenable" to making contact. If he does, he wants to express his gratitude for the generous gift he received.

“I can’t think of a more magnificent gift than to be given additional years of life," he said.

Though Cheney is a bit older than most heart transplant patients, there is no absolute cutoff for the procedure. More than 70 percent of heart transplant recipients live at least five years, though survival is a bit lower for people over age 65.

In the interview, Cheney didn't pull his political punches. He called President Barack Obama one of the "weakest" presidents, saying he preferred even Jimmy Carter. He did, however, laud Obama for successfully killing Osama Bin Laden, also taking the chance to commend the Bush administration for laying the intelligence groundwork for the operation. The seasoned vetter even took a jab at Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) for choosing former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate in 2008, calling the decision a "mistake."

They get to take credit for everything good that happens during a Democratic presidency (e.g., Obama killing bin Laden). However, they also get to blame the Democrats for everything bad that happens during a Republican presidency (e.g., the Economic Crash of 2008).

They did the same thing with Clinton, trying to credit Reagan for the booming economy.

When someone whose approval ratings are in the single digits attacks you, you should USE it. Of course since the Democrats decided not to investigate this corrupt, lying, war criminal, he still thinks his words have power with the people.

So see, Darth is right. If not for Bush letting him escape in Tora Bora, Obama would not have been able to get him in Pakistan.

I mean you'd think he could be a little more specific. His example as far as I can tell is Afghanistan and Iraq policy. Because somehow we are suppose to remember all the good times we had there during the Bush years.

He said we'd be greeted as liberators in Iraq.

He said the opposition in Iraq was in their final throes when there were still years of fighting to go.

He said the Government didn't have anything to do with his getting the CEO job at Halliburton (as if he'd have ever been considered if not for his high-profile Washington positions).

The list could go on and on, up to and including his assessment of Obama as a weak president.
