House Speaker Paul Ryan, citing family, will not seek re-election in November

snip . . .

Earlier this week, Ryan's campaign reported it had raised more than $11 million in the latest fundraising period.

Team Ryan said that with the latest $11.1 million during the first quarter of 2018, it has raised more than $54 million during this election cycle.

I know I've told you before, but everytime I see your handle I gotta smile remembering Paul Wellstone and his eventual successor, Al Franken. You all vote well.

He is running for re-election and fundraising. But I do not expect him to stand for re-election.

I would let him have it if he would just go away.

He would only be stealing from people who support him so I can't feel sorry for them. It is better than having him steal from government coffers.

Mostly, it would just be good for him to leave when the 4 years are up. Assuming he lasts that long of course.
