And he works on that only part time. And much of THAT is via video from his HOUSE.

He's got it made. He has a venue for his opinions, interviews some of the most astute politicians and pundits in the country, and his wife works with him. The ultimate dream job.

The party he tries to pretend was misled or suddenly went bad over Trump, despite its rewarding ever-increasing extremism for decades. Certainly for the quarter century anyone outside of Florida legal circles has known his name. Newt Gingrich trained Republicans to follow his example and treat Democrats as "the enemy of normal Americans", and Joe was one of his '94 freshmen that rewarded him by making Newt Speaker of the House.

It doesn't matter that he was a Bush guy. The Bushes were almost as bad. Most of Trump's policies are mainstream Republican fare, just with a crude, disgusting paint job.

Conservatives remade the Republican party into one that despises compromise and adores absolutism. The same people who are complaining about "Trumpism" were ecstatic when Rockefeller Republicans were eliminated as a force within the party. They re-engineered the party to make that happen, but to do it meant there couldn't be an "Off" switch.

Some are more guilty than others, but ALL of them are responsible.

But if you don't watch the show regularly, you wouldn't know that.

@realDonaldTrump

Much of the bad blood with Russia is caused by the Fake & Corrupt Russia Investigation, headed up by the all Democrat loyalists, or people that worked for Obama. Mueller is most conflicted of all (except Rosenstein who signed FISA & Comey letter). No Collusion, so they go crazy!

But not every President changes stuff. I think our guys tend to keep who's best for the Country. imho. Pretty sure those Judges have been there since Bush. As one example.

Obama put in his own people, for the most part. He kept one or two Bush people, I think, and that was his choice, but eventually they left, and Obama replaced them with his own people.

As for U S attorneys, like Preet Bharara:

By tradition, all U.S. Attorneys are asked to resign at the start of a new administration. The new President may elect to keep or remove any U.S. Attorney. They are traditionally replaced collectively only at the start of a new White House administration.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dismissal_of_U.S._attorneys_controversy

They all usually do this, but they go about it in different ways. Bush did it gradually, Obama did it in a short period of time & replaced them. Trump did it, too, but it was done more disrespectfully, of course.

generally. Not really in a mood to fight w you about it. Feel ok now? I think FISA Judges are FEDERAL JUDGES FOR LIFE. But, I don't claim to be wikipedia. I guess.....It's just a comment. AND I think a LOT of those Judges were appointed under Bush.

You stated my post info was wrong, so I provided more info to let you know the facts. Then you send me a "wel I'm not in a mood to fight" response.

There is no fight here. I was merely informing you of the facts. No big deal.

Federal judges serve for life. The President, whoever he is, can't fire them. But my post wasn't about judges.

I'm okay accepting information from other posters, and acknowledge their info all the time. I want to know. I would have responded, "Oh, I see. Thx."

Joe was never in his corner. Joe's guy was Jeb Bush. But he had all the candidates on, incl. Trump (who usually appeared via phone).

Joe then started talking about Trump being unfit for office, etc., at which point Trump started trashing Joe in twitter, and then he refused to go on anymore, and Joe refused to have him on, anymore. That was in 2016.

MJ was one of the few shows that would NOT have Trump on. But Trump cont'd to secretly watch the show...you could tell by some of his tweets.

Joe is a regular Repub. He's not one of the wacko wingnuts in the Freedom Caucus or the Trumpers.
